The Trend for Premium Wine

Significant growth in the premium New World wine market in China and beyond into Asia was in the headlines in 2016, with no signs of slowing. Some of the finest examples of premium New World wines come from South Africa! Be the first to taste some of these incredible wines when Premium Independent Wineries of South Africa (PIWOSA) embarks on a tour of Asia in April 2017, with 9 winemakers, 18 events and retail promotions to bring the best of this premium New World segment to the Asian trade.

Who is PIWOSA?
Premium Independent Wineries of South Africa (PIWOSA) is a collective of likeminded, premium, independent wine producers of South Africa’s Western Cape. With innovative programs and events, they shine the spotlight on the flourishing premium South African category for local and global wine lovers. While each winery portrays its own microclimates and unique sites and soils, PIWOSA represents the incredible diversity of Premium South African wine today.
