Debra Meiburg MW Meets the Winemaker 165: Michele Chiarlo, Michele Chiarlo

Michele shares with Debra his philosophy of producing elegant wines from his experience of working 50 years in his winery in Barolo. He tells Debra how meaningful it is to produce a wine where the character of the producer and the terroir can be recognized. Michele wraps up the interview by describing the two historical vineyards of where they grow their grapes in Barolo, Cerequio, and Cannubi. Cerequio is one of the most important historical single vineyard in Barolo, whereas Cannubi is the oldest single vineyard in Barolo.
