Debra catches up with Sebastiano de Bartoli of Marco de Bartoli a winery located in Sicily, Italy. Debra is particularly excited to discuss their production of Marsala – one of the traditional wines of the region, and also widely used and more often recognised as a cooking wine. They discuss other local techniques of the region, including the fortification of Marsala, the traditional drying techniques used to produce Pantelleria, as well as what the future for Marsala is.
