Debra Meiburg MW Meets the Winemaker 169: Maralisa Allegrini, Allegrini
Debra meets with Maralisa Allegrini of Allegrini, an Amarone producing winery. She describes Amarone as the most important wine that is produced in Valpolicella due to the unique winemaking process and the resulting flavour of the wine. Though there are risks of humidity during the process of drying the grapes, Maralisa tells Debra how she managed to tackle the problem. Maralisa ends the interview by telling Debra how enjoyable it is to work in the wine business, from planting and managing the vineyard to being an ambassador of her own brand.
